Michael Jackson 1958 - 2009

No matter who you are, or what denomination, you cannot deny Michael Jackson's effect on music. He was a genius at his trade, and influenced many artists and musicians alike.

I remember growing up in a small town called Mallory, West Virginia. I was 14 years of age and the only music you heard on the radio was Rock N' Roll, Country, and Pop Music. But, when MJ's music hit the radio, it was like hearing rain fall on a tin roof for the first time. In other words commanded your undivided attention, while soothing you very spirit.

As Christians, we may quickly want to judge, but it's not our place to judge how he lived his life, only judge him on his amazing accomplishments, and pray for his family. The news cuts deep, but we know that God Heals all brokeness, and allows us the grace to mourn.

I will personally never forget his contribution to the world.
